| Crystal
bowls are sound instruments that have much in common with Tibetan singing
bowls. The sound from the bowls effects the human body on a physical, emotional,
spiritual and mental level.
Crystal singing bowls are made from pure quartz silica sand originally designed to form crucibles. Crystal crucibles are multi-use high-tech bowls primarily created for the computer semiconductor industry as a tool for growing crystal chips. Crucibles have evolved to become a metaphysical, multi-purpose energy tool for healing and are called crystal singing bowls or crystal vessels. Crystal singing bowls create tones, which are simply vibration that carries through physical objects, as sound vibration moves matter. The pure tones vibrate our body due to its natural affinity to quartz crystal. Our physical and energetic bodies are able to resonate with specific frequencies due to the crystalline structure within our body. The crystalline substances within our body exist in our bones, blood, brain and DNA. The silica within our bodies balances our electromagnetic energies. Bowls are played to complement other therapies such as Reiki, therapeutic touch, massage, network chiropractic, yoga, meditation and so on. One can play them in a group or on their own. All bowls come with a rubber O ring and suede mallet. Crystal singing
bowls can be purchased individually or in sets. Bowls are available in
a clear and frosted crystal and come in a variety of sixes, ranging from
5 to 24 inches in diameter. The large bowls are more reverberant due to
there size, where the tones may linger for a time after they have been
played. Regardless of the pitch, size or tone, each bowl opens, balances
and harmonizes the chakra (energy) points of the body. |

Stowe owns Vibrational Healing Energy (VHE) a business specializing
in crystal singing bowls, sound attunements and vibrational therapies. VHE
integrates colour and sound tools to heal, educate and illuminate subtle
energy and vibrational medicine to others. VHE offers crystal singing bowls,
books, CDs, training, concerts, space clearing and one-on-one sound attunements.
Sound and colour therapies are taught or applied through workshops and individual
treatments.
Lana originates from rural Manitoba and has been exploring healing, energetic and spiritual activities for a number of years. Lana lives a lifestyle grounded in sensible approaches to self awareness, healing and spirituality. Lana has worked with crystal singing bowls for four years, two of which have been with the public. Lana has trained with Renee Brodie and Jonathan Goldman. Lana also holds advanced certificates in aromatherapy and Appreciative Inquiry and a Masters degree in Public Administration. Lana has worked on diverse projects in the public and non-government sectors. She has combined her eclectic life, educational and employment experiences to serve others through VHE.
